What does Zotero do?

Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is a Firefox addon that collects, manages, and cites research sources.

Benefits:

  • Free and easy to use!
  • Attach PDFs, notes and images to your sources
  • Organize collections for your different research projects
  • Create bibliographies and insert footnotes using Word or OpenOffice
  • Automatically updates to work with new online sources and new bibliographic styles

Installing Zotero

Attention Nursing students:

Use the American Psychological Association 6th Edition citation style that comes with Zotero rather than Turabian. Please disregard the instructions in this video on installing Turabian.
